Technology Transition Assistance

MilTech leverages TechLink's technology transfer activities and helps companies to transition innovative technology to Department of Defense operational use more quickly, reliably, and cost-effectively. This program is a partnership between TechLink and the Montana Manufacturing Center (MMEC). It focuses primarily on companies in the Northwestern United States that are commercializing new defense-related technology. MilTech provides critical engineering, manufacturing, and business development assistance to these companies. The program enables these companies to accelerate the transition of new technology to the US warfighter, lowers the cost and cycle time of technology acquisition, and helps DoD to more fully benefit from its R&D funding to US small business.
