TechLink is primarily funded by the US Department of Defense to link companies nationwide with DoD research laboratories for licensing, transfer, development, commercialization, and transition of new technologies. TechLink is located in Montana State University's Advanced Technology Park and serves as the university's main outreach arm to high-tech companies in the state and region.

Partnering with federal labs for technology transfer enables companies to tap into the vast resources available in our nation's research facilities. Through TechLink-assisted partnerships and access to newly developed technologies, companies can greatly leverage their R&D investments and more successfully commercialize their technologies.

TechLink also assists in transferring innovative technology from private industry to federal labs.
