John led individual, group and department level R&D and product development for Halliburton Energy Services. He was Section Head for Measurements and Communications R&D and Department Manager for Data Acquisition Systems product development. He led several interdisciplinary teams to evaluate new products and services, technology evaluation, and strategic research planning, and served on the team to standardize data acquisition and data communications systems throughout Halliburton Energy Services. He held the second highest technical rank within the company and was recognized as the leading company expert in sensor technology.

John has B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the University of Missouri - Rolla with concentration in solid state physics.
